#1 MOST IMPORTANT - BRUSH YOUR HAIR

- Do not skip this step.
You natural hair is encased inside the keratin bond, and cannot shed. This is why it is very important to keep your attachments brushed and separated.
Beginning at the nape and working up, brush row by row brushing through the bonds from scalp to ends.

Use Your Anti-Tap!
Save the Best for Last
Anti-Tap Water Concentrate is the ultimate finish for all hair treatments. PANTHENOL supplies hair with moisture and promotes elasticity and flexibility.
Liquid hair keratin replaces and rebuilds missing hair substance.
BIOTIN promotes the natural balance and natural function of the scalp and hair. GSP-T® provides protection against damage from free radicals and environmental strains.
The pH-value of 3.2 contracts and smooths the cuticle layer preserving care nutrients in hair such as moisture.
Anti-Tap is recommended for all Great Lengths Extension wearers for its stabilization effect of the Great Lengths bond which keeps the bond in optimal condition.
Anti-Tap is a concentrate and will require dilution, 1 part Anti-Tap to 8 parts water.
To prevent premature bond breakdown and to protect your hair, always saturate your hair with water and apply Great Lengths Anti-tap Formula prior to swimming, exercising, using a sauna or any activity that creates moisture in your hair for an extended period of time. Immediately after such activities, shampoo thoroughly, condition, apply the Anti-tap formula and blow-dry the attachment sites.
Watch your heat!
Blowdry Your Bonds!
It is very important that you dry your bonds.
- Keep your flat irons, and curling irons at least 1.5 inches away for the keratin attachments.
- Turn your heat down to 275 Degrees.
- Use your GL Heat Protectant Spray

Braid Is A Must at Night & Skydiving...
It is important to pull your hair back in a soft scrunchy when:
- You are sleeping
- Going into a covertable
- On a Motorcycle
- Or any windy situation
Look but don't touch!
You mind find this embarrassing or even comical, but it's important to tell your partner that they are not to tug or pull on your extensions.
It is normal to lose some, and we have a "no replacement" policy.
So, be sure to let them know that your hair extensions are "off limits"
Use Your GL Styling Products
Now that you have washed, conditioned, and used your Anti-Tap...it's time to have fun styling your hair!
Keep any oil off your bonds, and any Great Lengths serum needs to be applied about 2 inches below your bonds.
The rest of your styling products can be used safely.
Just keep then off of your bonds, and then proceed to styling your hair.
Your extensions are 100% real human hair!
You will be able to curl or flat iron your hair.
Just remember to TURN DOWN THE HEAT.
Allow yourself extra time to get ready in the mornings.
What if I lose some extensions?
Some extension loss is normal throughout the life of your Great Lengths extension application.
The average person experiences natural hair loss of 100 to 150 hairs per day. After some time you can expect to see a small quantity of your hair that has shed naturally yet is still attached to the bond. This is normal and should not be interpreted as hair that has been pulled out of the scalp by the extensions.
Daily brushing as instructed will prevent those loose hairs from catching on one another, tangling and potentially matting at the attachment areas
